ACO World Senior (50+) Chess Championship 2025 Crete (Greece)
Open to all players aged 50 and above

ACO is the organizer of the ACO World Senior (50+) Chess Championship 2025 (1-10 October, 2025) and arranges accommodation with all-inclusive for all participants in the venue hotel, 5-star Fodele Beach Resort (S. Giannikakis S.A., Fodele 715 00, Crete, Greece). The contractual partner for accommodation is the hotel.

The arranged hotel booking and the registration for the chess tournament take place in two separate steps:

• Enter the data for yourself and any accompanying persons below.
• Choose your room type and, if desired, extra nights.
• Check the summary of your booking. If everything is correct, please press “Complete booking” at the bottom.
• Immediately after that, you will receive an email with the hotel confirmation.
• Please also check your spam folder in case you did not receive the email.
• Afterwards, you will receive a separate email with the link to the registration form for the chess tournament.

Hotel booking without risk!

• No deposit payment is required upon booking.
• Free cancellation of the hotel booking until August 31, 2025.

Hotel payment procedure

• You pay the total amount for your hotel booking by August 31, 2025, at the latest. You will receive the exact payment details from us at a later date.
• In case of late payment, the booking will be automatically cancelled by the hotel.
• One month before the due date, you will receive a payment reminder by email.
• Cancellations after August 31, 2025, or in case of no-show will be charged 100% of the total amount by the hotel as cancellation fees.
